The film begins with Carol Danvers, still reeling from the events of Avengers: Endgame, patrolling the galaxy as Captain Marvel. When a powerful cosmic signal emerges, she is drawn to its source and ends up entangled with the powers of Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan.
