The Boogeyman Movie (2023) is an American supernatural horror film directed by Rob Savage and starring Sophie Thatcher, Chris Messina, Vivien Lyra Blair, and David Dastmalchian. It is based on the 1973 short story of the same name by Stephen King.
Boogeyman Movie is about Sadie Harper (Thatcher), a high school student who is still reeling from the tragic death of her mother. When a desperate patient unexpectedly shows up at their house seeking help from her father, Will (Messina), a therapist, he leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.
Sadie and her younger sister, Sawyer (Blair), must find a way to defeat the Boogeyman before it's too late, but it's not easy. The Boogeyman is a shape-shifting monster that can take on any form, and it only appears to those who are afraid of it.
